Job Description: As a Customer Assistant at Tesco Blackburn, you will be at the forefront of delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with their shopping needs and inquiries, providing friendly and helpful service at all times.
• Operating cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling transactions and payments.
• Restocking shelves and maintaining attractive product displays throughout the store.
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy, and safe for both customers and colleagues, including managing spills and organizing stock.
• Supporting colleagues with tasks such as stock replenishment and assisting with deliveries as needed.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
