Job Description: Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our retail team as Retail Assistants. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience for fans and visitors at our club shops and retail outlets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases, providing helpful and friendly service at all times.
• Operating the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments and issuing receipts.
• Restocking merchandise shelves and displays, ensuring products are neatly organized and correctly priced.
• Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with stock replenishment and stocktaking activities as needed.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the retail areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and removing debris.
• Promoting special offers, promotions, and club merchandise to customers, maximizing sales opportunities and revenue.
• Providing support to the Retail Manager and senior staff members with store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security measures.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.

Requirements:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and colleagues.
• A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and representing the Tottenham Hotspur brand.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and match days, as required by the football calendar.
• A genuine interest in football and sports merchandise, with knowledge of the Tottenham Hotspur brand and products preferred.
